Manila, June 15 -- Senate employees returned to work on Monday after a security alert prompted a temporary work-from-home arrangement last week.

Senator Erwin Tulfo said Monday employees and staff have been allowed to return to the Senate building in Pasay City after security officials assessed that the threat level had eased.

"Medyo bumaba 'yung threat at this point (The threat has gone down at this point)," Tulfo said in a DZRH interview.

He said Senate President Pro Tempore Sherwin Gatchalian allowed employees to work from home last week as a precaution while authorities checked the reported threat.

Tulfo said the Office of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms, headed by Alfredo Corpuz, gave assurance that security measures are in place. ...
