Manila, Oct. 11 -- Despite the twin strong earthquakes on Friday, the Indigenous Peoples Games - Mindanao Leg commenced on Saturday morning in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

Thirty delegates from different towns in the province convened at Buenavista Central Elementary School grounds for the opening ceremony.

The participants are from the three main tribes of Agusan del Norte -- Higaonon, Manobo and Mamanwa.
