Remulla seeks return of SK age limit to 15-19 years old
Manila, Sept. 11 -- Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla has recommended restoring the age eligibility for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) to 15 to 19 years old, saying youth officials should remain closely connected to the sector they are elected to represent.
Remulla said the current age range allows individuals who may already be working or raising families to continue serving in a council intended to represent younger Filipinos.
