Manila, June 24 -- Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Wednesday said authorities are close to completing their fact-finding investigation into the June 8 team-building activity in Aurora province that resulted in the deaths of two Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) student-athletes.

Remulla said ADMU President Fr. Roberto "Bobby" Yap, Vice President for Administration Fr. Nemesio Que, and businessman Manny Pangilinan, chairman and trustee of the MVP Sports Foundation, are expected to be interviewed by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) before the investigation report is submitted to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

He said criminal charges could be filed as early as Friday in connection with the incident.
