Manila, Sept. 5 -- Luzon will continue to experience rains due to the prevailing "habagat" or southwest monsoon, the weather bureau said Saturday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the habagat will bring rains over Occidental Mindoro.

Residents are warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to heavy to intense rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Antique will experience occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon.

Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains may occur in these areas, PAGASA warned.
