Manila, Oct. 27 -- Most parts of the country will experience rains on Monday, the weather bureau said.

A low pressure area (LPA) will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms across Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The LPA, located 260 km. west of Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, as of 3 a.m., has a slim chance of developing into a tropical cyclone within 24 hours.
