Manila, March 13 -- Families displaced by the massive fire along NIA Road in Barangay Pinyahan on March 6 will soon have their permanent homes, through a joint project by the Quezon City government and national government agencies that will build multi-story residential units in the city.
In a news release Friday, QC Mayor Joy Belmonte assured residents that the project, which would be part of the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program (4PH), would prioritize displaced fire victims.
She said the city government is working with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development DHSUD), and the National Housing Authority, to provide these residents with permanent, dignified housing within the city.
