CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, July 20 -- Illegal gambling activities topped the list of confiscations for the first half of 2026 with PHP194.4 million in seized items, the Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) announced on Monday.

During a press conference here, PRO-10 chief Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano said the police conducted 319 operations and arrested 522 individuals in the region for illegal gambling from January to June.

"These accomplishments are the result of relentless police operations, stronger partnerships with our local government units and communities," he said.
