Manila, Oct. 24 -- The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has conducted a surprise drug test for its regular and contract-of-service (COS) workers at its head office in Port Area, Manila.
In a statement on Friday, PPA General Manager Jay Santiago said the drug test held on Thursday was aimed at maintaining a drug-free workplace to sustain a "safe, efficient, and reliable port services nationwide."
