Che Palicte, Dec. 15 -- The Aboitiz Foundation, in collaboration with Davao Light and Power Company Inc. (DLPC), and the University of the Philippines Mindanao (UP-Min), formally welcomed 12 new scholars under the Aboitiz Future Leaders Scholarship Program on Monday.

This milestone marks the program's expansion into Mindanao, with each scholar set to receive PHP10,000 per month in educational support until they complete their college degrees.

In his speech, DLPC president and chief operations officer Engr. Enriczar Tia emphasized that the scholarship goes beyond financial aid.
