Manila, Sept. 22 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) is deepening its alliance with Japan and Guyana to further strengthen its capabilities in maintaining regional security and order.

In a statement on Monday, PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. welcomed Japanese Ambassador to Manila Endo Kazuya and Honorary Consul Joseph Gabriel D'Oliveira of the Consulate of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and the Caribbean Association of Southeast Asian Nations Council in separate courtesy visits at the PNP National Headquarters last week, where the parties reaffirmed their commitment to broaden cooperation.
