Manila, Aug. 19 -- The Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) on Tuesday said it was planning to file charges against groups posing as HPG members across the country.
In a press briefing held at the HPG headquarters at Camp Crame in Quezon City, PNP-HPG spokesperson Lt. Nadame Malang said they were considering filing a case against a force multiplier group for usurpation of authority and illegal use of insignia after they received information from concerned citizens about the illegal activities of certain groups posing as HPG members.
