Manila, Aug. 19 -- The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has issued a new circular reminding the public and its personnel of the official requirements for Postal ID applications to ensure uniformity in processing and prevent confusion among clients.
In a news release on Tuesday, Acting Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer Maximo Sta. Maria III stressed that the directive, outlined under PHLPost Circular 25-48 dated March 20, 2025, seeks to streamline procedures across all post offices nationwide.
Under the guidelines, all new Postal ID applicants must personally appear and submit one duly accomplished application form, written in bold letters using black or blue ink.
