Manila, Sept. 29 -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) said Tuesday it is accepting electronic certificates issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for transactions requiring civil registry documents.

In a Facebook post, PhilHealth said Advisory No. 2026-0051 provides for the acceptance of PSA e-certificates in transactions involving National Health Insurance Program beneficiaries, accredited health care providers, partner institutions and other stakeholders.

The PSA e-certificate is a secure, verifiable and legally recognized alternative to paper certificates issued by the agency.
