BUTUAN CITY, Aug. 18 -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation-Caraga Region (PhilHealth-13) reported Tuesday that it paid a total of PHP588.84 million in claims to health facilities throughout the region in July.

The disbursement covered 45,474 processed claims from hospitals and clinics during the month.

"Driven by our mission to provide responsive and timely service, our team achieved an average turn-around time (TAT) of just 6.28 days," PhilHealth-13 said in a statement.

It said the regional TAT significantly outperformed the national average of 10.19 days.
