Manila, Sept. 25 -- Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, representing the Philippines at a high-level forum during the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80) in New York, on Tuesday highlighted the importance of collective action to empowering and protecting frontline health workers worldwide.

In a news release on Thursday, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said Cacdac cited the Philippines' whole-of-government approach to supporting health workers during a forum hosted by the Frontline Health Workers Coalition and its partners, on the sidelines of the UNGA80.
