Manila, Feb. 11 -- The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is strengthening efforts to reconnect younger generations of Filipinos abroad with their roots through Philippine literature and partners, with the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY).
In a news release on Wednesday, CFO Chairperson and Secretary Dante "Klink" Ang II said the agency signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the PBBY to establish a framework for engaging young Filipinos abroad through reading and strengthening a culture of literacy.
"My dream is to help the young members of the Filipino diaspora discover our rich literature through this partnership," he said.
