Manila, May 6 -- Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. on Tuesday night said the Philippines can now buy military weapons from the Japanese aside from acquiring these through transfers, as Tokyo eases up its restrictions on the transfer of its defense equipment and technology.
"Pero ngayon puwede rin tayong bumili ng defense equipment sa kanila kasi hindi na sila constrained mag-transfer. Pero may guidelines iyan.
