Manila, Dec. 11 -- The Philippines and the United States (US) conducted another round of maritime drills in the West Philippine Sea (WPS), underscoring the two nations' shared commitment to maintaining stability, security, and rules-based international order in the Indo-Pacific Region.
The 9th maritime cooperative activity (MCA) with the US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), held on Dec. 9 and 10, "provided both forces an opportunity to enhance interoperability, deepen operational cooperation, and strengthen joint capabilities amid evolving security challenges," the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said Thursday.
