ROMBLON, Oct. 13 -- Fifteen Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Romblon District Jail, in collaboration with local artists from the Pintura Artists of Romblon Province, participated in an art session on Sunday.
The activity forms part of the BJMP's rehabilitation and reformation program, which aims to promote creativity, self-expression and emotional well-being among PDLs through art-based interventions.
Local artists Hipolito Berano, Camilo Villanueva Jr. and Leo Maduro facilitated the session, teaching basic painting techniques and guiding participants in expressing their thoughts and emotions through visual art.
