Manila, March 2 -- The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chorale bested 47 choirs to win the Grand Prix at the Korea International Choir Competition (KICC) in South Korea.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles, in a statement on Monday, hailed the victory, saying it "reflects the extraordinary talent and dedication of the PCSO Chorale."

"Their victory brings pride not only to our institution but to the entire Filipino nation," he said. "Through music, they have once again demonstrated the excellence and global competitiveness of Filipino artists."

Robles said the 2026 KICC was the PCSO Chorale's first international contest.
