Manila, June 27 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday applauded the Presidential Security Command (PSC) for its unwavering dedication in protecting the First Family and its role in upholding national stability.

"For over the century, the PSC has now served as a security arm of the presidency, protecting not only the Office of the President, but also the institutions that keep our democracy strong and our Republic stable," Marcos said during the PSC's 128th anniversary celebration at Malacanan Park in Manila.

He recognized the elite unit's sacrifices to maintain the highest level of security for the President and the nation.
