Manila, Jan. 30 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered all government agencies to submit progress reports on their ongoing projects every two weeks, warning officials against submitting "false reports" or embellished updates.

In a briefing Friday, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the President issued the directive during a meeting with his economic team at Malacanan Palace, with discussions focused on accelerating reforms and boosting the country's economy.

"Let's move forward," Castro quoted the President, adding that true reform must be accompanied by progress.

She said President Marcos ordered the fast-tracking of infrastructure projects, particularly the construction of schools and classrooms.
