MANILA, Oct. 16 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is heading in the right direction as he remains firm in efforts to eradicate corruption in government, OCTA Research fellow Guido David said Thursday.

While David acknowledged that more needs to be done to curb corruption, he said many Filipinos appreciate Marcos' efforts to address the problem.

"Marami tayong kailangang gawin (We still have a lot to do). This is just the start. At marami tayong, you know, maraming i-investigate, maraming huhukayin kaya marami (There's a lot to investigate, a lot to uncover). We have our plates full kumbaga (so to speak)," David said in an interview on PTV's Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon.

"Pero 'yung Pangulo natin (But our President) is on the right track ...
