MANILA, Oct. 3 -- Tropical cyclone Paolo has weakened into a severe tropical storm, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced in its 5 p.m. bulletin on Friday.
Paolo was last spotted over the coastal waters of Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur, moving west northwestward at 35 kilometers per hour.
