Manila, Feb. 28 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is "well and healthy," Malacaang said on Saturday, dismissing rumors that the Chief Executive was brought to St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City.

In a text message to reporters, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said Marcos even had a private meeting with the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) on Saturday morning.

"The President was in a private meeting with PMS this morning. He is well, healthy and working even on a Saturday," Castro said.

Numerous false claims about Marcos' health condition have circulated online, including rumors that he has colon cancer.
