Manila, Aug. 25 -- The Department of Justice (DOJ) is still reviewing the United States' request to extradite Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Apollo Quiboloy, Malacanang said Tuesday.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the DOJ is currently examining the voluminous documents submitted in connection with the extradition request.

"Sa ngayon, ang DOJ ay kasalukuyan pa pong binubusisi, inaaral, ina-assess ang bulto-bultong dokumento na naipasa sa kanila (The DOJ is currently scrutinizing, studying, and assessing the bulk of documents submitted to them)," Castro said in a Palace press briefing.
