Manila, April 10 -- Malacanang on Friday described the proposed Agapay sa Hanapbuhay at Operasyon ng Negosyo (AHON) bill as a "good proposal," but said it still requires thorough study.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the AHON bill, a proposed economic relief package amid tensions in the Middle East, should be reviewed, considering that it would need funding.

"Maganda po iyan pero nangangailangan po rin iyan ng supplemental budget so tingnan po natin (That is a good proposal, but it will require a supplemental budget, so we need to study it)," Castro said in a Palace press briefing.
