Manila, June 12 -- A big field of young players will see action this weekend in the Mayor's Cup Age-Group Championships at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna.

Leading the girls U14 division is Ella Marie Paglalunan, who is expecting a tough challenge from Leanne Barrido, Sarah Bermas, Lilith Rufino, Jaynelle Castro, Xyril Solis and Anica Palacio.

Castro, meanwhile, headlines the U12 category where she will be up against a rising crop of talent, including Mira Plaza, Margaret Abacan, Misty Principe, Lexa Asistio, Brielle Loyola, Julia Bermejo and Blaire Rada.

Paglalunan, Barrido, Rufino and Solis will also compete in the U16 category featuring Vania Parawan, Michaela Suarez, Claire Alcala and Jana Bermejo.
