Manila, June 15 -- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has dispatched 10,500 food packs to areas affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao.

PAGCOR Chair and Chief Executive Officer Alejandro Tengco said the agency's assistance aims to help affected families cope with the challenges brought about by the disaster, according to a news release on Monday.

The relief food packs will be distributed to residents of General Santos City and Mati City, Davao Oriental; the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in Region 12 (Soccsksargen); and the Second District of Davao Oriental.

A total of 3,000 food pails each will be allocated to General Santos City, Mati City, and the OCD-Region 12.
