MANILA, Nov. 15 -- The Department of Health (DOH) has delivered PHP 1.7 million worth of health supplies to Catanduanes, one of the provinces hardest hit by Super Typhoon Uwan.
On Saturday, the DOH said the shipment, consisting of hygiene and breastfeeding kits, water containers, purification tablets, and medicines, was received by the Catanduanes Provincial Health Office on Nov. 13, the same day of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s visit.
The items address the immediate health needs identified through assessments by the DOH-Bicol Center for Health Development and the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Cluster.
