SAN FERNANDO CITY, June 10 -- Over 31,600 job vacancies will be offered to job seekers in various parts of Ilocos Region on Independence Day on Friday, according to the Department of Labor and Employment in Ilocos Region.

DOLE-1 information officer Jenny Mapile, in a phone interview Wednesday, said 1,635 are available in Ilocos Norte, 2,307 in Ilocos Sur, 1,179 in La Union, and 26,834 in Pangasinan.

The top job vacancies up for grabs are production operators (1,610), customer service representative (1,012), production division operator (1,000), quality assurance inspector (1,100) and production associate (1,000), she said.
