Manila, July 3 -- Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno on Friday warned erring personnel that the agency's one-strike policy is still in effect amid the all-out war against smuggling.

Nepomuceno issued the warning at the start of his second year as head of the BOC, saying those found to be involved in corruption, smuggling activities, or any act that undermines the integrity of the Bureau may be immediately relieved or removed from their posts.

He also encouraged the public to support the BOC's anti-smuggling efforts through the Isumbong Kay Commissioner platform (https://isumbongkaycomm.customs.gov.ph/).
