Manila, May 26 -- Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families will be given free access to selected heritage sites in Intramuros, offering returning workers a cultural homecoming experience in the historic walled city, ahead of the Migrant Workers Month celebration in June.

DMW Undersecretary Dominique Rubia-Tutay on Tuesday said the "Pasyal Pamilya: Balik-Bayani sa Walled City," will be held in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Intramuros Administration until May 31. It is designed to reconnect OFWs with Philippine heritage while the government recognizes their contributions to the Philippine economy.
