Manila, Sept. 10 -- The National Housing Authority-Davao (NHA-11) reported Thursday that it broke ground for the construction of 42 housing units under the Bahay Pag-asa Housing Program in the Municipality of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental on Sept.9.

In a statement, NHA-11 Assistant General Manager Alvin Feliciano said the project will provide permanent homes for members of the Pinasagan Neighborhood Farmers and Fisherfolk Association, previously classified as informal settlers.

"The beneficiaries will finally have a place of their own to live. My only request is to cherish and take good care of the housing units we have provided," Feliciano noted.
