Manila, Sept. 18 -- Passengers boarding and alighting from the Philippine National Railways (PNR) will soon find their experience more comfortable with the inauguration of the new Libmanan station in Camarines Sur Wednesday.
The opening of the Naga-Lupi route is anticipated in October.
"These stations are a testament to how PNR is fulfilling the President's order to increase our trips. Our goal is to establish a direct line from Bicol to Laguna," PNR chairperson Michael Ted Macapagal said in a statement Thursday.
For the residents of Libmanan and Lupi in Camarines Sur, these new stations offer significant benefits, making waiting and boarding the train more comfortable, he added.
