Manila, March 30 -- The government is looking to implement a new policy to allow companies and individuals to provide carpooling services in response to the ongoing national energy emergency.
In a meeting at the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) headquarters in Pasig City on Monday, MMDA Chair Romando 'Don' Artes said the policy is still being drafted and may be implemented after the Holy Week.
"I-open natin ito sa public. Kahit individual cars ay pwede pong mag-enroll dito sa ating carpooling.
