Manila, Aug. 26 -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the local government units (LGUs) of Pasig City, Marikina City, Antipolo City, and Cainta on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen traffic coordination and transport management along Marcos Highway.

The agreement is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to pursue stronger coordination among government agencies and LGUs in addressing traffic congestion and improving mobility.

MMDA Chair Don Artes led the MOU signing at the MMDA Headquarters in Pasig City.
