Manila, Sept. 16 -- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Tuesday said a total of 58,693 individuals were arrested in a seven-day anti-crime crackdwon across Metro Manila.

In a statement, NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin said the operation took place from Sept. 8 to 14 and carried out by the Manila, Quezon City, Northern, Southern and Eastern police districts.

Aberin said the operatives of the NCRPO apprehended 317 wanted persons, including 119 identified as Most Wanted and 198 categorized as Other Wanted.

The NCRPO launched 205 anti-illegal drugs operations that led to the arrest of 299 suspects and the seizure of over 1,054 grams of shabu, 1,048 grams of dried marijuana leaves, and 209 grams of kush (high-grade mar...
