Bangladesh, Aug. 3 -- he country's merchandise exports in July 2026 recorded a meager negative growth to fetch US$4.72 billion, according to Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) data released Monday.

Bangladesh earned US$4.77 billion in July 2025.

Out of the total US$4.72 billion, RMG fetched US$3.88 billion, marking 1.92 per cent negative growth, according to EPB data.

Within the RMG segment, knitwear exports declined by 0.90 per cent to US$2.15 billion, while woven garments fell by 3.16 per cent to US$1.72 billion.

Home textiles marked a 14.37 per cent growth to $77.86 million in the first month of the current fiscal year of 2026-27.
