Manila, May 20 -- House Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander "Sandro" Marcos of Ilocos Norte on Wednesday pushed for the immediate passage of a measure seeking to establish a Mental Health Voucher System under the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) to help low- and middle-income Filipinos access consultations, therapy, medication, and other mental health services without being stopped by cost.

Marcos said the proposed Mental Health Voucher Act is meant to turn mental health care from an aspiration into an actual service that ordinary families can afford, consistent with President Ferdinand R.
