Manila, June 12 -- Anti-narcotics operatives arrested an alleged big-time drug peddler in Marawi City on Wednesday (June 11, 2025) confiscating one kilogram of shabu with an estimated market value of PHP6.8 million, police said Thursday.

Colonel Robert Daculan, Lanao del Sur police provincial director, said a buy-bust operation, carried out by the Lanao del Sur Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Lilod Saduc, Marawi City, resulted in the arrest of a suspect identified only as "Menso."

In a statement, Daculan described "Menso" as a high-value target and a resident of Bagu-Ingud, Ditsa-an Ramain, Lanao del Sur.
