Manila, April 6 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Monday reopened to motorists the newly repaired southbound lane of the Magallanes Flyover in Makati City.

DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon opened the segment of the flyover early morning after it undergone rehabilitation works last week.

The portion of the structure is now accessible to vehicles after its 24/7 Holy Week rehabilitation, which started on Holy Wednesday until 4 a.m. Monday.

Aside from the reopened southbound Magallanes flyover, he also inspected the newly asphalted and lane markings at the corner of Taft in Pasay City.
