MANILA, Oct. 3 -- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will implement a major reshuffle of the chiefs of district offices nationwide to address underperformance, particularly in the distribution of plates and apprehension of unregistered vehicles.
In a statement on Friday, LTO chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II said a memorandum has been issued to all regional directors, instructing them to conduct the reorganization at the district level.
The move is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to ensure efficient and effective government services.
