Manila, Oct. 6 -- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Monday suspended the license of a driver of the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that went viral on social media for having flashing reverse lights.

In a show cause order (SCO) signed by LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Chief Renante Melitante, the license of the driver of the Toyota Innova with license plate no. DPB 7501 has been suspended for 90 days while the vehicle itself has been placed under alarm.

The driver was summoned to appear before the LTO IID at the LTO Central Office in Quezon City on Oct. 10 to explain why they should not be charged.
