Manila, Feb. 18 -- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) 1 (Ilocos Region) continues to intensify its road safety campaign, holding a lecture series on Wednesday for 160 officers of public transport associations in the region.

Ariel Paolo Tejada, Drivers Education Center instructor of LTO-1, said the sessions were designed to enhance participants' knowledge of road safety laws, traffic rules, and proper driving behavior.

"The initiative forms part of LTO-1's continuous commitment to strengthening driver education and community engagement, particularly among public utility vehicle drivers to promote responsible driving practices and reducing road accidents," Tejada said in an interview.
