Manila, Oct. 23 -- Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) and TNC booked their places in the upper bracket semifinals of the MPL Philippines Playoffs after ousting their respective opponents in the play-in round on Wednesday night at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay.

Both teams clinched their place in the Final 4 in style, bringing to a close memorable runs by Team Falcons Philippines (FLCN) and Twisted Minds Philippines (TWIS).

TLPH first clinched a place in the next round by eliminating FLCN with a 3-1 win.

In effect, TLPH, seeded third in the playoffs, kept its bid to complete the Golden Road alive.
