Manila, March 3 -- President Lee Jae Myung will present a traditional Korean turtle ship model to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday in hopes of strengthening defense industry cooperation between the two nations, Lee's office said.

Lee arrived in Manila earlier in the day for a two-day state visit for summit talks with Marcos, which are expected to focus on ways to bolster cooperation in the defense industry, shipbuilding, nuclear power, and other areas.

The handmade ship, plated with pure gold, will be presented during a state dinner to be hosted by Marcos.
