Manila, Oct. 13 -- Deputy Speaker and Antipolo City Rep. Ronaldo "Ronnie" Puno on Monday expressed fears that a possible demolition job is underway against former Speaker Martin Romualdez prior to his scheduled appearance before the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) on Tuesday.

In an ambush interview, Puno questioned the timing of unfair allegations linking Romualdez to alleged overpriced and substandard farm-to-market road (FMR) projects in Leyte.

"I think malungkot ang timing kasi (I think the timing is pathetic because) the former Speaker is going to speak before the Independent Commission tomorrow, so parang may konting demolition na nangyayari dito (it looks like there's a bit of demolition job happening here)," Puno ...
