Manila, July 16 -- Lanao del Sur 1st District Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong said Wednesday the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey vindicates the House of Representatives for initiating the impeachment process against Vice President Sara Duterte.
He said the survey result also affirmed that the Filipino people, especially those in Mindanao, want public officials to be held accountable through constitutional means.
Adiong was reacting to the results of the SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase, which showed that 66 percent of Filipinos nationwide agree that Duterte should face the allegations against her through the impeachment process, while 19 percent disagreed and 15 percent were undecided.
